Being away from Vancouver has given me time and fresh perspective on my next steps as a creator and performer… Distance makes the heart GROW. I can’t wait to collaborate with old friends and new, and work on music/art/dance that deepens our connections to each other, that tells stories about our ancestors, and that weaves positive energy for tomorrow’s đź’–

KeAloha is an award-winning musician from Northern BC. KeAloha’s seed as an artist was planted on day one: learning the traditional dance of her Hawai’ian and Tahitian Ohana. Her young love for tap dance inspired her career as a drummer, and at 18 she moved to Vancouver with a full scholarship to Capilano University’s Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. KeAloha is a usual suspect in the Jazz, Neo-Soul, Latin-Fusion scene. Fuelled by the continuum of individual and community, KeAloha coordinates and performs at events that energize our commitment to building sustainable communities together.
